Sweet treats made of delicious walnut and honey pastry. You’ll go mad for them!

Ingredients

For the topping:
100 g
sugar
2 tbsp
water
1 package
vanilla sugar
200 g
ground hazelnuts
4 tbsp
honey
2 tbsp
apricot jam
For the glaze:
200 g
chocolate
10 g
butter

Preparation

  • Mix together flour, baking powder, eggs, butter and vanilla sugar until you have a homogenous and dense mixture.
  • Put the dough in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. In a saucepan, heat the sugar with the water and vanilla sugar.
  • As soon as the sugar has caramelized, add the hazelnuts and honey. Leave to cool.
  • Remove from the refrigerator and roll the dough out with a rolling pin making a square of about ½ cm in thickness.
  • Put the dough on a baking sheet covered with oven parchment.
  • Spread the jam over the surface and over that the hazelnut mixture, spreading it evenly.
  • Finally, cover it with a sheet of oven parchment. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Once cooled, cut the pastry into many squares and in turn cut those in half to create triangles.
  • Melt the chocolate with butter in a double boiler and dip the corners of the triangles into the mixture. Allow the glaze to set.
