Chocolate ginger biscuits

The delicate scent of cocoa and the tangy taste of ginger blend together to make a delicious biscuit. They go perfectly with orange flavoured tea.

Ingredients

170 g
50 g
unsweetened cocoa powder
50 g
chocolate chips
100 g
sugar

eggs
100 g
cold butter
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
ginger powder

Preparation

  • Rapidly mix all the ingredients together until you have a smooth, compact dough.
  • Place in the fridge for about an hour.
  • Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut out the biscuits using your favorite biscuit cutters.
  • Place the biscuit shapes on a tray covered with a piece of greaseproof paper, leaving a sufficient amount of space between each biscuit.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (350° F, Gas Mark 4) for 20-25 minutes.
