The Easter bunny greets from Hungary! Dobo cake, a sweet delicacy from the Easter Bunny.

Ingredients

For the dough:
120 g

eggs
30 g
butter
120 g
icing sugar
For the glaze / icing:
150 g
sugar
3 drops
fruit vinegar
For the filling:
6
eggs
100 g
dark chocolate
170 g
icing sugar
to taste
vanilla sugar
200 g
butter
For the decoration:
to taste
whipping cream

Preparation

For the dough:

  • Beat the yolks with the melted butter and icing sugar until frothy.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in; sift the flour over it and fold in.
  • If possible, provide two to three baking trays with baking paper.
  • With the help of a round springform, obtain 6 bases with a diameter of 26 cm from the dough, place them on the trays and cook in the oven for 5-7 minutes at 180°C.
  • Then let it cool and release from the paper.

For the cream filling:

  • Stir the eggs with the icing sugar and melt with the chocolate in a water bath.
  • Allow to cool, stir in vanilla sugar and the melted butter.
  • Then spread on 5 cake trays and layer on each other.

For the caramel glaze:

  • Caramelise the sugar with 3 drops of vinegar in a saucepan and spread over the top layer of cake.
  • Carefully cut the portions with an oiled knife and decorate with cream.
