Low fat French Toast



8 slices Artisan Baker White Bread
3 egg whites
2 tbsp low fat milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
cooking spray
confectioner's sugar


  • Separate eggs, reserve egg whites, discard the yolks.
  • Beat the egg whites with the milk, cinnamon, vanilla: Lightly spray a frying pan with the cooking spray. Place over medium flame. Dip the bread one slice at a time in the egg mixture, then place in heated pan. Let the toast cook on one side for 2 – 3 minutes, turn once, and then remove from pan to serving dish.
  • Repeat with remaining slices. Serve with fresh cut berries and a sprinkle of Confectioners’ sugar.
