Rabbit is Malta’s national food. And rabbit stew, or Stuffat tal-Fenek, is Malta’s national dish. It’s a gorgeous wine and tomato sauce filled with juicy vegetables and tender rabbit meat. The thickened sauce and rabbit meat also makes a delicious sauce for pasta, and is often served as a first course before the main stew. So if you’re looking for a new gluten free spaghetti recipe to try, this is an absolute treat. We guarantee you’ll be back for more.
