Here you’ll find a very easy recipe for delicate, crispy cream puffs – try it yourself!

Ingredients

175 g
250 ml
water
60 g
butter or margarine
4-5
eggs
1 pinch/es of
salt

Preparation

  • Mix the the water, the butter and the salt and bring to boil.
  • Once everything boils, add the flour and stir constantly until the mixture comes away from the sides of the pot.
  • Remove from the heat and add the eggs individually one at a time, making sure that each egg is well mixed into the dough before the next one is added.
  • Stir everything together well until a smooth dough is formed.
  • Put the dough into a piping bag and form little balls of dough on a baking tray that has been covered with greaseproof paper (wax paper).
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C ( 400°F, Gas mark 6) for 20-30 minutes.
  • When the balls have cooled down they can be filled with cream or fruit as preferred.
