This gluten free waffle recipe makes wonderfully light and fluffy waffles, and the best part is, it couldn’t be easier to follow. All you need are a few staple ingredients, your waffle maker and hey presto! What’s more, the gluten free waffle mixture will keep in the fridge for a few days, so you can enjoy waffles all week long. Experiment with different types of fruit in the batter and sweet and savoury toppings to find your favourite flavour for every occasion.

- Beat the butter together with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Then add the eggs and combine everything until a light, fluffy consistency forms.
- Add the sieved flour and salt. Then pour in the milk.
- Allow the batter to rest for approx. 10 minutes. Preheat the waffle iron.
- As soon as the the waffle iron reaches the right temperature, pour a spoonful of the batter evenly over the mould.
- Cook until golden brown.
