There’s nothing more wholesome and relaxing than making a nutritious loaf of gluten free bread on a Sunday evening. This cornbread recipe is filled with vitamins and antioxidants from the sunflower seeds, making it extra nutritious. Cornmeal is also super beneficial for our health, being packed with essential minerals like iron! Enjoy this bread warm out of the oven with your favourite spread for breakfast or as an accompaniment for soup for lunch. Mmm… so delicious!

- Mix all the dry ingredients (except the salt) together in a bowl.
- Add water little by little, then the salt and mix well.
- Pour into a bread form, cover with cellophane and let rise in a tepid room for approx. 30 minutes or until the dough has doubled in volume.
- Brush the surface with water, sprinkle on the sunflower seeds and bake in a 200°C oven for approx. 30 minutes.
