This type of pancake is not only a popular snack in France, crepes taste delicious with both savoury and sweet fillings. Tip: Spread Nutella on the warm crepes and eat immediately – instantaneous pleasure of the palate guaranteed!

Ingredients

130 g

eggs
1 tbsp
vanilla sugar

salt
30 g
melted butter
300 ml
milk
a little bit of
butter
a little bit of
Nutella

Preparation

  • Blend the flour, eggs, vanilla sugar, salt, butter and milk into a smooth batter and leave to stand for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan (24 cm diameter) and coat with a thin layer of clarified butter.
  • Add half a ladle-full of batter, allow it to run to one side briefly and then use a dough scraper to spread the batter thinly over the frying-pan.
  • Now at a moderate temperature fry the crêpes on both sides until golden brown.
  • While the crêpes are still hot spread with Nutella and eat immediately.
  • Crêpes also taste delicious with marmalade or apple purée.
