An excellent spring recipe, perfect with ripe in-season Marasca black cherries... mouth-watering!

Ingredients

265 g
180 g
sugar
125 ml
buttermilk

egg
1
egg yolk
60 g
butter
1 package
baking powder
1 pinch/es of
salt
500 g
pitted cherries cut in half

Preparation

  • Mix the egg and yolk with a little cake mix.
  • Place the remaining flour on a work surface and distribute knobs of butter on it.
  • Add the egg mixture and buttermilk.
  • Work all the ingredients until you have a smooth dough and let sit in the refrigerator.
  • In the meantime, butter a springform pan and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Put the dough into the cake pan and place the cherries on top.
  • Bake in preheated oven.
