A delicious apple cake recipe with peach jam!

Ingredients

200 g
75 g
sugar
3
eggs
½ cup
semi-skimmed milk
100 g
butter
or
100 g
margarine
3 tbsp
peach jam
½
lemon
½ package
baking powder
1 pinch/es of
salt
3-4 (cut into thin slices)
apples

Preparation

  • Mix the sugar and eggs together in a bowl to form a light and frothy mixture.
  • Add the sieved flour, the jam, the grated lemon peel, the salt and the melted margarine and mix well.
  • Finally, add the milk and the baking powder.
  • First add one layer of pastry to a greased and floured ovenproof form, followed by a layer of apples.
  • Add a further layer of pastry and, finally, cover with apples.
  • Bake in a preheated oven.
