- To make Greek Pita, start by cooking the skewers in a pan with a drizzle of oil. Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki sauce. Thoroughly wash the cucumber and grate it with the skin on using a coarse grater.
- Leave the grated cucumber in a colander to drain excess water. To speed up the process, gently press with a fork and pat dry with paper towels.
- Mince the garlic and crush it into a paste. In a bowl, add the yogurt, oil, vinegar, salt, and cucumber. Mix everything together and adjust the salt if necessary.
- Lightly spray the pita with water and heat as desired: in the microwave for 20-30 seconds, in the toaster for 1 minute at maximum power, in a pan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes per side, or in the oven or air fryer at 180°C for 3 minutes.
- Once the pita is heated, carefully cut it open.
- Remove the skewer.
- Fill the pita with some tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, meat with vegetables, and more sauce.
Serve everything hot.
