It’ll be Christmas in your house and Christmas in your mouth as the magical seasonal flavours of almond, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg swirl around your kitchen and enchant your taste buds. - Mix the softened butter and sugar.
- Add the egg and whisk.
- Add the crushed almonds.
- Mix all the dry ingredients.
- Pour the dry ingredients into the dough and mix well.
- Divide the dough in two pieces.
- Make two rounded bars (4 cm diameter). Use a plastic wrap if needed.
- Put the dough bars into the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Warm up the oven to 175°C.
- Slice the cookie dough bars and put the cookies on baking paper.
- Decorate with crushed almond.
- Bake for around 12 minutes.
