If you accidentally eat some food contaminated with gluten it is unlikely to cause lasting damage, however, it may result in some unpleasant symptoms for some people. Here are some tips to help you manage the symptoms:

  • Hydrate yourself: It is important to stay hydrated, particularly if one of the symptoms you experience is diarrhoea or vomiting- this will help you avoid becoming dehydratedDrinking water, herbal tea, decaffeinated tea or coffee or sugar-free squash are good choices to help stay hydrated
