Parsley and lemon plaice



3 slices Wholesome White Loaf
3 plaice fillets
½ lemon
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1 pinch/es of black pepper
1 pinch/es of sea salt


  • Preheat the oven 190oc/170oc Fan/ Gas Mark 5.
  • Place the bread in a blender or food processor and whizz to make breadcrumbs. Add the lemon (zest and juice), parsley, olive oil and seasoning and whizz to combine.
  • Wash and dry the plaice on kitchen paper and put on a greased baking sheet. Top with the breadcrumb mixture and bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked.
  • Serve with new potatoes and salad or green beans and a wedge of lemon.
