We visited this pub at Easter 2016. It wasn't busy at lunchtime. We were made to feel very welcome. When my wife asked about GF offerings, the staff were very helpful. It wasn't a case of 'what you cannot have', but rather a case of 'let us see what we can provide for you'. There were several choices for my wife, including a GF burger she enjoyed very much.At the bar samples of the real ale on tap were freely offered before buying. The staff were friendly and chatty. All four of us enjoyed our meals, both GF and non-GF.The pub is interestingly laid out. Certainly good for lunchtimes, but sure to get busy at weekends and during the evenings.
