About La Cantina
At La Cantina people with gluten intolerance are well catered for and can safely enjoy a gluten-free meal. La Cantina is familiar with the problem of gluten intolerance and does all it can to prepare gluten-free food risk-free. A great deal of importance is placed on keeping meals free from contamination and using only gluten-free ingredients. The menu at La Cantina provides a good selection of gluten-free foods. Gluten-free foods are correspondingly identified. The staff is always available for questions. A culinary highlight for carefree enjoyment - even with gluten intolerance!

We thought La Cantina worth a return visit at Easter 2017 so dropped in for a weekday lunch. We found the place almost empty (not for long!) There was a selection of GF options for my wife (but she loves their burgers) plus an interesting, range of 'fusion' or more traditional dishes. There's still an emphasis on locally sourced produce and it is all claimed to be freshly prepared....which is possibly why we had to wait so long for our meals to arrive. We don't mind a more relaxed attitude to time on holiday, but it took much longer for our meals to arrive than we expected. Service was very slow.We ordered more drinks to fill the time. Our mains finally arrived and we enjoyed them, particularly the burger, but I think my traditional chicken dish may have been cooked longer than it should be, not being as moist and juicy as expected. It's difficult to judge on a one-time basis.The bigger problem, I think, is La Cantina is getting pricey, especially with a low £ exchange rate.
