La Bruschetta is a wonderful restaurant, it is run by people who fully understand coeliac disease and they ensure that there is a separate kitchen for the preparation of the gluten free food.The menu for the Coeliac is varied and there is no problem if you wish to have something slightly different on your pizza or if you want a different type of pasta with your sauce. They even have a choice of gluten free beer for you to enjoy. When it comes to desserts again there is a wide and varied choice, in fact it is almost too much choice, but for a Coeliac it is pudding heaven.The restaurant also caters for non-coeliacs and is a fun place for all ages to experience a good night out.
I have never eaten anywhere where I had so much choice in gluten free meals in an Italian restaurant. I was given my own menu that had only 2 items different from the non gluten free one. The service was great. It was worth the 2 hour travel from Chingford by bus and tube. We chose a starter with 10 different antipasties and it was delicious. When I later asked to speak with the chef I was told that more or less everything was glutenfree. It is a bit far from Scotland otherwise I would come every week.
