Can I eat chips with ketchup and mayonnaise?
Even chips may contain ingredients with gluten or they are fried in fryers where previously breaded food was fried. Also in this case contamination must not be underestimated. You should therefore always read the list of ingredients on the packaging with great care. At the food stall always observe carefully or ask what and how things are fried. It is the same for ketchup and mayonnaise: for food technology reasons, for example in order to thicken or stabilise, ingredients containing gluten may be added and are therefore to be avoided if you suffer from gluten intolerance. In order to be on the safe side it is best to read the list of ingredients on the packaging or, if need be, just ask.
