A gluten-free BBQ
Of course you do not have to give up having a BBQ in summer! Nothing of the sort! However, with a gluten-free diet there are a few basic rules you need to follow so that you can actually enjoy it. It is best to buy untreated meat and marinate it yourself. Then you can be sure that there is no hidden gluten in the spices. And in order to avoid contamination on the BBQ itself you can grill your meat, fish or delicious vegetables in an aluminium tray or wrap it in tinfoil. Ready marinated meat, as well as BBQ sausages, are unfortunately taboo. On the other hand you can feel free to eat lots of gluten-free salad or vegetable sticks. Pay attention also with BBQ sauces, ketchup and so on, which may also contain gluten. Make sure that the BBQ meat is not glazed with beer, unless it is a gluten-free one. Well, feeling hungry?
