- Bring the milk, sugar and vanilla pod to the boil.
- In the meantime, beat the flour with the egg yolks and about two tablespoons of milk.
- Pour the hot milk over the beaten egg yolks and bring everything to a boil again.
- As soon as the cream begins to thicken, remove the vanilla pod and let it cool.
