Ricotta-olive oil dough basic recipe


These light and airy German biscuits are perfect for enjoying as a sweet snack, or to pop into a lunchbox for you and your family to enjoy on the go!


For the dough:
350 g Wraps
200 g quark (cheese from pasteurized cow's milk)
6 tbsp milk
6 tbsp olive oil
1 egg
120 g sugar
1 package vanilla sugar
1 + 1/2 packages baking powder


  • Preheat the oven to 185°C (top and bottom heat setting) and line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper.
  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl and, mix together with your hands, until you get a smooth, firm dough.
  • Shape the dough however you like, then place in the oven.
