Here’s another traditional Christmas sweet that you can vary, depending on your taste, by simply choosing a different filling!

Ingredients

4 eggs
100 g icing sugar
160 g butter
150 g Mix C - Mix Pâtisserie
6 g baking powder
55 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
55 g dried apricots, roughly chopped
55 g dark chocolate
55 g raisins
For the garnish:
melted butter
icing sugar

Preparation

  • Beat the eggs with the icing sugar, then mix in the butter. 
  • Add the flour, and previously added baking powder, and work it all together, adding the chopped walnuts, the dried apricots, the dark chocolate and the raisins.
  • Pour the dough into a bread pan and bake in an oven preheated to 175°C for 45 minutes.
  • Once removed from the oven, let it cool, then turn out onto a plate and spread with melted butter and icing sugar.
