Try this typically Italian pastry! It’s always delicious, not just during Mardi Gras!
|400 g||Mix B - Bread-Mix|
|15 g||brewers' yeast|
|10 g||dry yeast|
|1 pinch/es of||salt|
|1 package||vanilla sugar|
|1||grated lemon peel|
- Boil the potatoes, peel them, and then mash them with a potato masher.
- Dissolve the yeast into vermouth and mix all of the ingredients together until a smooth dough is formed.
- Form the dough into intertwined ropes, lay on a cloth, cover, and allow to rise.
- As soon as they have doubled in volume, fry them in oil, sprinkle with sugar, and serve while still warm.
