Brazilian Rain fritters

These delightful Rain Fritters would take any Brazilian national back to their childhood days. This gluten-free version will sweeten your rainy days.


For the dough:
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups Mix C - Mix Pâtisserie
1 tsp baking powder
2 pinch/es of salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp oil
For the breading:
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
For frying:


  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix together.
  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Using a spoon, carefully drop small amounts of dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  • Toss the hot fritters in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon and serve immediately.
  • Tip: For banana lovers: Try dicing a banana and adding it to the dough. A delicious combination!
