An Italian classic, these bittersweet biscuits are a mouth-watering import that are sure to be a hit as an after-dinner snack.


For the dough:
2 tbsp Mix C - Mix Pâtisserie
200 g almonds, shelled
100 g sugar
3 egg whites


  • Preheat the oven to 150 - 180°C (top and bottom heat setting) and line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper.
  • Grind the almonds until they take on a porridge-like consistency.
  • Beat the sugar together with the egg white, and combine the almonds with the sieved flour.
  • Shape the dough into nut-sized balls. Place them on the baking tray and bake in the oven.
