If not sure, also ask the chef or someone in the kitchen
You’re in a restaurant and the menu fails to specify the gluten-free dishes? Then that’s no use: so, if you’re not sure, ask the chef directly or one of the kitchen staff. You have every right to a meal which has been prepared without gluten, and there’s bound to be something. Because, if the food is freshly made, the gluten can quite simply be omitted. Often it’s not the first time that a chef has someone who must not consume gluten or other nutrients.
