Sliced multigrain bread

I have recently discovered Schar and really like the multigrain sliced bread which I use to make sandwiches for lunch. However I have found that there always seems to be a big hole in the loaf which makes it difficult to use soft fillings eg, egg mayo or tuna etc. Am I unlucky or is it the norm for this bread?
