I wish too! Or a hole in the middle I hate that! But only time soft..homemade bread, I been gf since 2010 this is only time it was soft. This brand I feel has a great taste. I love the artisan bread but even this brand I noticed we get that dang big hole in the bread not as much as other brands but I think gf bread needs bit more work

Can you cut your sandwich in half & then the “hole” won’t be so noticeable? I’ve bought many different expensive breads & all have holes in the middle. I find that by cutting my sandwich in half, I hardly even notice it.

Whole Foods makes a wonderful bread called "Light White Sandwich". It's amazing, but has been difficult to find lately at the Princeton, NJ store. It's perfect for sandwiches!

I have found a solution in ordering one of the best without holes. It can be purchased at Walmart's.

My hope is the be one of the dedicated people. Who, stay and understand the quality of life it brings to watch what we eat.

The other day I bought "Gluten Free Pane Casereccio" by Schaer here in Croatia. It's very good, tasty, soft and I can hardly tell the difference between this bread and a classic rye-bread. The label says it comes from Italy... it's also lactose free, so I'm really happy with it. I reccomend it!

First off, I love every Schar product that I have tried. However with bread I am very picky. I have tried probably 20 kinds of gf bread. Schar bread has not made it to my region. So the best I've had is Kinninnick bread. I use it daily for lunch meat sandwiches. Comes frozen. Microwave it and it's soft and delicious. Great taste and texture.

Oh, that’s too bad since you love all of Schar’s products. Thankfully you have a replacement until they have their products in your area :)

Once when I was at Walmart in Morgantown WV, they had a Gluten Free Bread that was something River or Mountain. It looked like and tasted like sliced Homemade bread. It was wonderful!! Toasted it was incredible . . .

Never saw it there again . . . or anywhere . . .

I believe the one you are talking about is Canyon River Bakehouse, I love their heritage white bread the pieces aren't super small, I have never had holes in the loafs, and it is the best tasting I have found and I've tried MANY different brands.

Schar Deli Style Bread Sourdough is the only Gluten Free bread I will eat. It's good at room temperature or toasted. It also freezes well.
