Clarification on the processing of your personal details

The company Dr. Schär AG / SPA (hereinafter referred to as “Dr. Schär”) with registered headquarters at Winkelau 9, Burgstall (BZ), Italy, spoken for by its legal representative, Mr Ulrich Ladurner, hereby informs you pursuant to article 13 of the Privacy Code, legislative decree no. 196 dated 30.06.2003 (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”) that the completion of this form on your part will bring about the collection and processing of your personal details by Dr. Schär. In particular:
THE PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING – Dr. Schär will process the personal details you supply: a) for registration with the Schär online club, b) with prior permission, for sending selected, free advertising and informative material, c) with prior permission, for sending free advertising and informative material by email d) with prior permission, for carrying out market research.
Should you give your permission for the abovementioned processing of your personal details, we would like to inform you that you may refuse all or any of the individual abovementioned purposes at any time, as well as cancel your registration with the club. Your registration details and your permission for the sending of advertising and informative material can be deleted easily and free of charge, by informing Dr. Schär GmbH/S.r.l. of this in writing (see below, under "Rights of the People Concerned"), and you can unsubscribe from or change pre-selected methods of communication under the menu item "My Profile".
METHOD OF PROCESSING – The details will be used by specially assigned people and (formally named) staff responsible for data processing, who use tools and equipment such as recording systems or magnetic, computerised and telematic equipment, which ensure security and confidentiality. The processing of the data can therefore also involve using an automated system to save, manage and telematically transmit these details. The databases are in a secure environment. Access to these databases is strictly monitored in accordance with the provisions of the Code.
Any processed details that may possibly be used for the purposes of market research are filed using methods which guarantee that only those details that are absolutely necessary are circulated, and that there is access surveillance of the staff commissioned to carry out processing.
NATURE OF THE SURRENDERING OF DETAILS – The surrendering of your personal details and the permission to process them are voluntary.
We hereby notify you that Dr. Schär GmbH/S.r.l. l will not be able to register you in the free Schär online club if you do not enter your details in the lines marked with * and agree to your details being processed exclusively for the purposes of registering with the Schär club.
On the other hand, refusal to give permission for your details to be processed in relation to market research (see market research privacy policy) or for sending free advertising and informative material or for other marketing purposes will not affect the possibility of registering with the Schär club.
TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE PROCESSED DETAILS – Subject to the transmissions and distributions which take place according to legal specifications, your details can be transmitted to bodies that carry out instrumental functions or functions in close relation to the activities of Dr. Schär. These may be in Italy or abroad.
RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE CONCERNED – With regard to the aforementioned details you are entitled to the rights stipulated in article 7 of legislative decree no. 196 dated 30.06.2003 (including the right to access your personal details and the right to request that these details are corrected, updated or deleted), and you may refuse processing if there are justified reasons for this refusal; however, exercising these rights must always occur within the limits of and subject to the conditions of articles 8, 9 and 10 of the abovementioned legislative decree. STORAGE OF PERSONAL DETAILS - The details will be stored for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and, in connection with this, for the fulfilment of all legal obligations and for future commercial purposes. The details will also be stored for market research or marketing purposes, if permission has been given for this kind of processing.
All personal details which do not absolutely need to be stored for the aforementioned purposes will be deleted or converted into anonymous data as per the legal provisions.
