Muesli with vanilla custard
"A smooth vanilla crème with our delicious muesli, fresh raspberries and touches of whipped cream. Mmmh!“
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until pale and foamy. Add the maize starch, vanilla essence and the warmed milk. Heat the mixture in a saucepan until it sets. (N.B.: Take care that the custard does not come to the boil). Leave to cool, then add the muesli and stir well. Refrigerate for approx. one hour, then garnish the top of the custard with the raspberries and whipped cream.
