Method

If using raw asparagus, boil it, allow it to cool, and then cut away the hard parts. Spread the slices of bread with butter and place a few leaves of watercress on them. In the middle of each slice of ham, lay a piece of asparagus and add a teaspoon of mayonnaise. Roll up the ham. Lay the ham rolls across the slices of bread. Garnish with watercress leaves and dots of mayonnaise and sprinkle with paprika powder.

  • 8 slices Schär Pan carrè, 8 stalks of asparagus (either fresh or canned), 30 gr. (3 tablespoons) butter, a small bunch of watercress, 8 slices crude ham, 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder, 50 gr. (2 oz.) mayonnaise
